Car Parking Charges
Car parks at Snowdon tend to fill up quickly, and now must be booked in advance at Pen-yPass. Here are the parking charges for some of the main car parks:
Pen-y-Pass Car Park
Parking for Pen y Pass Car Park, Eryri National Park. You must pre-book your parking for this car park.
Bookings are only available to be made at least 1 hour in advance.
Minimum price is £20 for a 8 hour parking session.
If the app is showing no availability, try adjusting your hours slightly as there may be availability.
The maximum vehicle length able to park in this car park is 5m.
Please ensure you book enough time for your trip to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), as spaces are limited and extensions are only available subject to availability.
Free parking is available for blue badge holders at Pen y Pass car park. The space does not need to be pre-booked or paid for. However, it is available on a first-come, first-served basis as it has always been, and therefore you may find that the space is already full when you arrive. This is even more likely to be the case in the busy summer months. We have staff on the ground 24 hours a day who are more than happy to assist if you arrive and the space is already taken.
Please note, if you’d like to book a 2-hour slot for short walks between 16:00-22:00,
you must ensure that the parking duration is set to 2 hours or under after 16:00 for the
short-stay listing to appear. Parking duration automatically changes every time you
make a new search. The short-stay car park is a trial and is only available until 23rd of
July 2023. We DO NOT recommend attempting to summit Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in
this time slot. Please allow 5-8 hours in order to summit Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
